Matrix Uncovered

The matrix has a deeply religious undertaking to it once you think about all the characters and the flow of the movie. Neo plays the role of Jesus with Morpheus as God Agent Smith as Satan. In short Morpheus is protective of his prodigy (the ONE) and will cover for him and train him to be perfection which is our idea of Jesus. While Agent Smith is corrupted and has powers that others in the Matrix are lacking. Satan roaming the earth with great powers, and this is the everlasting ongoing battle between good and bad to save the planet and all of mankind.
